I am trying to program the Microcontroller(ATMEGA-168-20pu) with the initialcode given by nerdkits. I am getting an error that reads:

avrdude:error:buffered memory access not supported. Maybe it isnt a butterfly/AVR109 but a AVR910 device? make:***[initialload-upload] Error 1

Any explanation as to what this error is, and what I can do to trouble shoot this problem??

Thanks
