Project Help and Ideas » Quiz Show Buzzer
May 17, 2011 by Rachid |
Iam thinking about building a fast finger quiz show buzzer for a local high school. I want to use the nerdkit. I am thinking about using Staples " that was easy" button with some modifications of course, maybe have the led array display the team number to buzz in first and a buzzer of course. In short the nerdkit will listen to the staples button (total of 2 to4 max), sound the buzzer and display the team name or number. The question is will I have enough ports to do all this with one kit? I am not so sure how many ports the led array kit uses |

Rachid, sounds like you are going to need some port expansion. You could use I2C Portexpanders or I2C or SPI mcu Master/Slave. It's doable but you would have your work cut out for you. Ralph |
