I just put together a kit from Adafruit. It's interesting because it uses an Atmega168, so you could theoretically prototype a Nerdkit project on the breadboard and then do a brain transplant into this hardware:

Ice Tube Clock

The Atmega168 is right there in front. Guess what time it was when I took this picture.

Anything that could use eight 7-segment digits would work.

My question is, why didn't you build one yourself? I believe it's well within your ability to do so.
