I am new to the nerdkit can someone tell me how to control a relay with my nerd kit and a pc to turn on and off a device with a variable timer

Hi lennym,

I think you can piece together what you need for this project from other parts of our site.

People on the Relays and Transistors Thread have a good explanation of hooking up a relay.

The Servo Squirter Tutorial has an example of controlling a water gun from a PC.

And our Real Time Clock Tutorial will get you started on using timers and interrupts for timing. Let us know how your project goes!
