Digital Arithmetic with DIP Switches
This video demonstrates using switches to input numbers in binary. The microcontroller performs the addition, and the result is displayed on the LCD screen. All of these parts are included with the kit.
You can download the source code. (Start with one of the projects included with the kit, and modify the Makefile to reference this file.)
This video references the Parallel Port NerdKit, but this project is also included in the USB NerdKit. In fact, the full details of this project are described in great detail on pages 54-60 of the USB NerdKits Guide!
