Morse Code Decoder
Morse code is a compact way to transmit letters, particularly over telegraph or radio. This demonstrates a system which can automatically recognize Morse code and turn it back into characters, displayed on the LCD.
This video references the Parallel Port NerdKit. All of these parts (except the buzzer) are included in the kit. You can download the source code. (Start with one of the projects included with the kit, and modify the Makefile to reference this file.)
The code has also been ported to work with the USB NerdKit, which includes the buzzer. You can grab the USB version's source code too.
