Hey,

I am 14 and I got this kit for Christmas because i am intrested in a career in electronics. I am having trouble understanding how to hook the mcu up so that you can write programs to it. I also am having trouble with prgraming if anyone could explain some stuff to me to get it started that would be great.

Thanks.

First thing to do is read the .PDF file from here.(in the downloads section, called the Nerdkit Guide). It has a lot of information to digest for a beginner but it follows a pretty good order to get from the basic understanding up to assembling the first circuit and turning it on.

as you move through it, things get easier.
